Pattern Analysis with Jade

Analysis of 1D diffraction profiles can be carried out with a variety of software packages. We currently have Jade installed on the data analysis computer (left of the data collection computer). Jade is a powerful software package with many bells and whistles. There is comprehensive online help for Jade within the program, but here are some tips for the more commonly used analyses.

Starting up Jade.  Start Jade via the icon on the desktop.

Reading in your data. Read in the xxxx_powder.dat file via Start -> Open New Folder. The disk on the data collection computer should be mounted at the as the Z: drive. The powder.dat file is located in the plots_red subdirectory in your experiment directory on the Z: drive.
