Sample Alignment

To align the sample:

• 1. After logging in and starting crysalispro, hit the F12 key. This puts the detector into a position to allow easy access to the goniometer.

  2. Mount the sample on the goniometer head.

  3. Align the sample using the remote control:

     • Go to 'LOWER' and '180'

     • Loosen the three set screws

     • Align sample in all three directions

     • Go to '90'

     • align sample - primarily the horizontal direction should be adjusted

     • Go back to '180'

     • Tighten (gently) all three set screws
