Cryojet Operation

1. Do not use the cryoject unless you have been specifically trained for its usage.

2. Cryojet should be switched off unless in use.

3. Cryojet cannot be used if level < 15%

4. Typical set values are Sample: 6 L/min; Shield: 4 L/min

5. To fill the cryojet dewar:

    a. Connect large dewar and open valve. Keep the brass relief valve above the horizontal.

    b. Plug in cord connecting the level meter to the solenoid valve. The solenoid valve should open and start the flow of nitrogen.

    c. If it is the first fill from the large dewar, the small dewar will probably fill completely. Otherwise, the large dewar may empty before the small dewar is full. In this event, the solenoid valve needs to be unplugged once the large dewar is empty.

6. To change trigger level settings on the ILM:

    Press & hold: Raise & Lower, then press & release Silence.
